At O.L. Parker & Son Grading Co., we have a firm commitment in providing the safest possible environment for our employees and the public. Our top down approach to safety begins with our President, Donna Whitesides. Every level of management is held accountable for development and implementation of our constantly evolving safety program. We want to evolve and improve!
We have a responsibility to our employees, their families, the community, companies that employ our services, and ourselves to provide a safe working environment. We provide our employees with the tools and safety training necessary to do their job safely. In turn, we expect that every team member assume their role in maintaining a safe work environment. We operate under a zero tolerance policy for unsafe work practices. Every employee undergoes drug testing.
Continuous Improvement
We are continually seeking resources to help our company become a safer place to work, not just for our employees, but also the public. We have a full time Director of Safety that undergoes regular OSHA training, and safety officials at each job site. Every morning
a safety meeting is conducted to go over that days safety precautions, potential hazards, and general tips and techniques required to make that day a safe day.
Recently our company has achieved another safety milestone; AVETTA certification. Being AVETTA certified allows our company to show our customers we are serious about our safety program and we strive to continually make improvements.
